Bluehex Portal Add to Discord

Documentation

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Everything you need to set up and run Bluehex Portal, one feature at a time.

1. Introduction

Bluehex Portal is an all-in-one Discord server suite. It handles moderation, tickets, automod, anti-nuke, levels, giveaways, welcome cards and more, and everything is controlled with slash commands, so there is no prefix to remember.

These docs follow the order most people set things up in. If you only need a quick list, open the Commands page.

Tip: setup panels are private. Only you can see them, so you can try things out without filling your channels.

2. Add the bot

Press the button and choose your server. You need the Manage Server permission to add a bot.

Add to Discord

The link asks for Administrator so every feature works straight away. If you want to give the bot less, lower its permissions in Server Settings, Roles, and keep the ones listed on Get started.

Then drag the bot’s role above the roles it needs to manage, but below your admin roles. Discord does not let a bot manage a role that sits above its own.

3. Quick start

These five commands cover the basics. Run them in any channel.

/welcome setup
/automod setup
/antinuke setup
/ticket setup
/levels setup

Each one opens a private panel with menus and buttons. Work from left to right, then press Enable or Publish at the end.

4. Welcome cards

Greet new members with an image card and your own message.

/welcome setup

The panel

  • Card menu: choose the card style.
  • Accent color menu: match the card to your community.
  • Welcome channel menu: where the card is posted.
  • Edit text: write the message. Use placeholders: {user}, {mention}, {server} and {count}.
  • Links: add buttons that link to your rules or website.
  • Upload background: press it, then send an image in the channel. Clear background returns to the default.
  • Send test: posts a sample card so you can check it before going live.
  • Enable: switches the welcome card on. Status shows as disabled until you do.

5. Tickets

Tickets give members a private place to talk to staff. Setting them up takes two commands.

Step 1: configure

/ticket setup

Choose the category where tickets are created, the staff role that can see them and the channel for transcripts.

Step 2: build the panel

/ticket panel

The panel builder is private. Use Edit text for the title and description, Upload image or Remove image for the banner, and Layout to switch between buttons and a menu. Add button creates a department such as Support or Partnership, up to 20 in total. Preview shows exactly what members will see, and Publish panel posts it to the channel you picked.

When a member presses a button, Bluehex opens a private channel for them and your staff. A transcript is saved when the ticket is closed.

6. Automod

Automod removes unwanted messages before your team has to.

/automod setup

Switch on the filters you want, such as spam, invite links, excessive capitals and banned words, then choose what happens: delete the message, warn the member or time them out. Add staff roles as exempt so moderators are never caught by their own filters.

7. Anti-nuke

Anti-nuke protects against sudden destructive actions, such as mass bans, mass channel deletions and permission changes, even from accounts that normally have permission.

/antinuke setup
/security

Set the limits that count as suspicious and the action to take. Use /security to review the status of your protections at any time.

8. Moderation

Everyday moderation tools. Each command needs the matching Discord permission, so only the right people can use it.

CommandWhat it doesTypical permission
/banBan a member, with an optional reasonBan Members
/kickRemove a member from the serverKick Members

10. Giveaways

/giveaway start
/giveaway list

Set the prize, the duration and the number of winners. Members enter with a button and the winners are picked when time is up. /giveaway list shows the ones still running.

11. Polls, reminders and AFK

Small tools that keep the community moving.

/poll

12. Voice

/vc join
/vc status

Use /vc join to bring the bot into a channel and /vc status to check its connection.

13. Embeds and branding

Send clean announcements and match the bot to your community.

/embed
/brand set

/embed builds a custom embed with a title, description, colour and image. /brand set controls how the bot’s own messages look, such as colour and footer. See Premium for branded embeds.

14. Info and status

Quick lookups and health checks.

/botinfo
/ping
/status
/serverinfo
/userinfo
/avatar
/members
/updates

/botinfo shows servers, users, ping and uptime. /ping shows websocket and API latency as simple bars. /status tells you whether everything is running, and /updates lists the latest changes. You can also see the status page on this site.

15. Premium

Premium is $3.99, shown in your own currency on the Premium page. To buy it, open a ticket in the support server and staff will guide you through payment and turn it on for your server.
